One of this year’s most talked-about films is The Social Dilemma, which premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. Since then, the film has begun streaming on Netflix and become a phenomenon.

As part of Film Fest 919, Fred Stutzman, founder and CEO of Freedom, and Phillip Amalong, Freedom’s vice president of marketing and a member of the festival advisory board, sat down with director Jeff Orlowski, producer Larissa Rhodes, Moment CEO Tim Kendall and festival Founder and Executive Director Randi Emerman for a virtual discussion about the film.

Orlowski and Rhodes previously collaborated on Chasing Ice, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song, and Chasing Coral, which was awarded the U.S. Documentary Audience Award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

In addition to his current role and Moment, Kendal is the former president of Pinterest and former director of monetization at Facebook.

After seeing The Social Dilemma, we felt this was a conversation to continue and bring to our followers. And who better to lead the conversation then Fred and Phil as Freedom develops products that help people manage their relationships with technology, so they can live happier, healthier, more productive lives?

We hope you enjoy this very special discussion about The Social Dilemma.
